| I Love leftovers |

Today is monday, and on Mondays nights for Dinner we always have leftover, we always cook enough for the next night. For dinner last night we had BBQ ribs, baked chicken, mac and cheese, greens, corn on the cob, and deep dish Apple pie for desert! (Yum,Yum).
As my Mother-in-law was in the kitchen taking everything out i thought "Boy i'm ready to eat"
My Children used to shutter at the thought of having leftovers until they realized that the food was better the next day, i had told them long ago that the reason the leftovers was better was that all the flavor goes all through the food. Now they love leftovers as much as me. " maybe i should have kept my mouth shut" Lol!
The word of God can be like that too, and sunday has just past and today is monday, all of us went to church and heard the word. Does anyone have any leftovers to share from sundays service? Can i tast a little? |

I love leftovers, too. It means I don't have to cook! Sunday leftovers: Ever go through an intersection and not remember if there were cars coming or whether the light was actually green? It's easy to go on "automatic pilot" through intersections, isn't it? Life is made up of our intersections with other people. Are you paying attention as you go through thse intersections? When your life intersects with another's, God is giving you an opportunity to interact with them. |

This is not so much leftovers as it is food for thought. Our Pastor had recently became a grandfather to a beautiful baby girl named Sienna. As I sat in the pew directly behind Sienna and her mother, I started to watch Sienna play with her mommy. She was jumping up and down in her mother's lap. And then I saw it. The look on Sienna's face told an amazing story of TRUST. She trusted that her mother would not let her fall as she jumped up and down, trusted that her mother would not let any harm come to her and that her mom would keep her safe. In the same sense, we should always put our TRUST in God, that He will meet ALL of our needs, He will keep us safe and not let us fall.
Blessed are those who TRUST in the Lord, our God.
Happy munching Keith!!
God Bless,
Matt |

| ok, here's one of my favorite leftovers; Our pastor tells the story of how, during a rousing service one sunday, a man stood up and said he would like to join the church. The pastor said, "ok, and when we come to that portion of the service, you can come up and join then." At the end of the service, the man left and didn't come forward. The pastor laments at the fact that he paid to much attention to the order of service and missed the opportunity to help save a soul for the Kingdom! |

Remember Me was the topic of services Sunday and it pertained to the men who were crucified with our savior on the cross. Why did the criminal ask to be remembered by JESUS? Because he knew that JESUS was the true savior and that as a sinner the only way in was through JESUS.
In this so called modern society we tend to forget that fact. We drum up all sorts of reasons as to why there are OTHER WAYS to go to heaven. ONLY THROUGH JESUS CHRIST can we reach our FATHER.
SAVOR THAT when temptation comes calling. |
