Ok so this is just something Fun!!!
Because GOD is FUN!!!!
I mean HE CREATED FUN!!!!
I was in my car driving today, and 2 David Crowder songs came on...
Now for those of you who know Crowder songs, you know that the majority of them are real Fun!!
well the first song that I was listening to was Intoxicating (at least thats what I call it, not real keen on knowing actual song names) , but I just love that song. It brought me to a real sweet place in worship with the Lord, and towards the end of the song it just goes into this fun little techno-ish sound clip, and I, being the goofy person that God made me, started to dance around all funny in my car, just having a blast I began to sense that God was having a blast with me!!! He was dancing all goofy right there with His daughter having a BLAST!!! Well as you can imagine this just increased the Awesome Fun worship in my car. The next song that came on was Undugnified by Crowder. LOVE IT!!!! The worship and Fun just got better and better and GOD was right there with me Dancing away!!!! I LOVE GOD!!!!
While I was having this AMAZING time with God, I was reminded of a question that someone asked me, nothing too deep just kinda fun to think about. The question was, "do you think Jesus danced at the wedding in Cana?" My answer was, "YES!!" and I did find some scriptures that I felt backed me up, besides my own relationship with Jesus backing me up...He cuts a mean rug!!!
The scriptures were Matthew 9:15 "The friends of the Bridegroom aren't sad while He is still with them." and Hebrews 1:9b "I have appointed you and made you happier than any of your friends."
Now I know that the rest of the Matthew verse talks about fasting because the Bridegroom will soon be gone, but we are now able to be with the Bridegroom through the work of Jesus' death and resurrection!!! The Holy Spirit brings us into union with the Bridegroom, so now we can REJOICE!!!! and DANCE AWAY!!! Because the work has been DONE and the Contract has been signed WE ARE HIS and HE IS OURS!!!!! Never to be separated from HIS LOVE AGAIN!!!!! That makes GOD a HAPPY GOD!!!!
HALLELUJAH!!!!! LET'S DANCE AND CELEBRATE OUR AWESOME VICTORIOUS KING!!!!!
So the next time we get all gloomy (this is for me as well) just think... GOD IS SO HAPPY THAT WE JUST GET TO BE HIS!!!! NOTHING ELSE!!!! THAT WE ARE JUST HIS AND HE GETS TO JUST HAVE A BLAST WITH US FOR ALL ETERNITY, THAT STARTS RIGHT NOW!!!!!!! JUST DO A LITTLE DANCE, SHOW A LITTLE LOVE, AND GET DOWN WORSHIPPING OUR AWESOME GOD!!!!!
and I had this thought, just a funny little thought that popped into my head...
do you think Jesus did dances like "the sprinkler" or "the lawn mower" as a prophetic act?
It was just a funny thought I had... I may be repenting later, but as of right now its really fun picturing Jesus "diggin a hole"...haha |
