(Lord I done told them, I hate to write!)
13:24 Another parable set he before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man that sowed good seed in his field: 13:25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares also among the wheat, and went away. 13:26 But when the blade sprang up and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. 13:27 And the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst thou not sow good seed in thy field? whence then hath it tares? 13:28 And he said unto them, An enemy hath done this. And the servants say unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 13:29 But he saith, Nay; lest haply while ye gather up the tares, ye root up the wheat with them. 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather up first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn.
Story of the Wheat and Weeds Matthew 13:24-30 24 Here is another story Jesus told: "The Kingdom of Heaven is like a farmer who planted good seed in his field. 25 But that night as everyone slept, his enemy came and planted weeds among the wheat. 26 When the crop began to grow and produce grain, the weeds also grew. 27 The farmer's servants came and told him, `Sir, the field where you planted that good seed is full of weeds!' 28 " `An enemy has done it!' the farmer exclaimed. " `Shall we pull out the weeds?' they asked. 29 "He replied, `No, you'll hurt the wheat if you do. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. Then I will tell the harvesters to sort out the weeds and burn them and to put the wheat in the barn.' I remember the song, "Love Makes The World Go Around" and the lack of love can bring it to a halt quick and in a hurry. This is a note for all bloggers, present, future and returnees. Each of us come together here on MyChurch in search of community and that's a beautiful thing. To be apart of any community is a privilege, an honor. It says, I belong to a group of people where we share "some" things in common. As it relates to MyChurch, I believe our commonality is Christ Jesus. Do we all agree, about all things? No. Is that a bad thing that we don't agree on all things? No, not at all, because we all see through a glass darkly, and we all can gain from learning from each other. So remember this as you blog, you have a "right to be heard". Yet, you do not have a right to be abusive (and ignorance is no excuse), or take advantage because of some ego need, or to offend, while crying that you are being offended, or bring shame upon this community or even worse, to bring shame to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. After all the bible does say, not to let your good works be evil spoken of. Jesus knew that there will be deceivers and well as people who carry the truth of the Gospel and he left instructions on what to do about it. He said, hey let them hang out together, and when the times comes I will tell the harvesters to burn the weeds (deceivers) and put the wheat (authentic Christians) in the barn.
Yes you have a right to be heard, just remember that it is still a privilege, and know this; it ain't harvest time, we ain't done planting yet. Pastor Aminata |

MH - it's really about two things in my opinion.
1. How to disagree with and yes how not to be disagreeable while disagreeing, which has been said many times here and in just as many ways. 2. Spider's Web- how not to be lured into a position where it goes nowhere, simply because that's not one's goal. Just need an audience. This is my thinking.

Pastor Aminata said I could put my thoughts (i asked her first)
When I saw "Story of the Wheat and Weeds " and how God's gonna burn up the weeds when he comes back...the first thang that popped in my head was "There's gonna be some weed smokin when Jesus comes back".
lol... i appologize |

Mstovall - God Bless you
Rich - now looking at the time, Pastor Ken will be home before I can get to the store and buy him his favorite coconut custard pie.... behind that statement, I'm gonna need a little help...lol... seriously that is a compliment to Ken, he wears off on me, see I'm a former street gal... back in the day... I was the one to snatch off her earrings and greased up my face with vasoline.... saying, "bring it!" It took a while before the Lord calmed me down, that's why he sent me Ken. We thank you.
Jami - you are absolutely right, true freedom is knowing how not to take advantage, so it can remain free.
Mullet - thanks for putting it back. You are right though- in that day, it's sho nuf gonna be some weeds smokin going on..... but not the kind many of us used to do, Praise God!

| Yep, great points! "We all can gain from learning from each other" and "do we all agree, about all things -- no!" But God is glorified when we can discuss our differing viewpoints politely, considerately, and yes, passionately. Yes, this is an amazing site. And the more the merrier! But let us be careful, we are still human, and when those who sow dissension and untruth start getting vocal, the "old man" can be awakened in any of us! |

Mullett - ah, do you need voice lessons? lol Evangelist - thank you and God bless you Lora - that is the point... many times we do forget unfortunately Jen - MyChurch is such a blessing, I only hope we can keep it that way, that means all of us God's Chosen - Whose truth your talkin about...lol only kidding, your right Denise - Yes, there is not many places where we can gather, have fun, fellowship, Praise God without the drama Mike - I do agree, if we are not careful and mindful, the "old man" and the "old woman" which in my opinion can be worse, can be awaken.. let's not raise the dead here Chosen One - Thank you and God bless you too Honey - Mind your manners just gave me an idea, maybe someone can offer "tongue typing"

| Great post bringing glory to God in presenting love over the selfish, self-fullfilling, self-righteous desire to be right. Coreena - It's all about God's type of Love (agape). In the world the opposite of love is hate, in the Christian world the opposite of Love (God) is love of self.

I like it! I learned early that God had not called me to condemn or condone, but rather to preach the truth of the Gospel and to love the people, no matter how hard it was to love them.
(1 John 3:18) My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. (KJV) (1 John 4:7-8) Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. (KJV)
