Hey everone! this is something that one of my youth leaders did on myspace and i wanted to put it on here!! Thx Yesenia! this is so great! GREAT JOB!
To whom it may concern I felt frustrated and couldn't sleep one resent night so I asked the lord if there was anybody I needed to pray for, a couple of people came up, but I didn't feel as if that was it. I went to bed, shortly after, the lord began to speak in my spirit. He told me to write a message. So I began to write what I toughed would only be a few sentences but those few sentences turned into paragraphs. The more I wrote the more I realized that this word was for me as well. To whom it may concern this this is a word from the Lord.
RISE UP, DON'T GIVE UP Are you sick and tired of drama, feeling defeated, feeling and saying what's the point in serving God. Let me encourage you to rise above your circumstance. Rise up young man of God rise up young women of God. In this world you will have troubles but be brave I have defeated the world. (John 16:33) There's a song that was inspired by scripture and you might know it. It says I am pressed but not crushed persecuted not abandoned struck down but not destroyed. Did you not give your life to God that you walk around with a defeated mentality. Walking around like you aint never gonna amount to anything, you aint never gonna be nothing, feeling sorry for yourselves. Ya! I know people done you wrong. and the reason you feel the way you feel is cause they told you so. the sad thing is, you fed into that lie. That's how the enemy of your soul works he feeds you garbage and you eat it up so when God comes in and feeds you healthy food you might recive it at the moment, but then you begin to look at the garbage that's been fed to you over the years and you forget what God has fed you. You don't even realize that your killing yourselves. The word of God said for as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7) So guess what ya'll. if you think yourselves to be a victor and not a victim, if you believe and declare that you are the head and not the tail that you are above and not beneath then that shall you also be. God has called you, God has chosen you, and if He chose you He lives in you. Therefore you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans8:37).
Don't you dare go back to your old ways, doing and saying whatever you want, don't say or even think that serving God is just a waist of your time, that you're better of without Him. its to hard anyway, might as well quite and go back to my ways. Here's a harsh and direct word for you, straight from the bible. (Proverbs 26:11) A fool who repeats his foolishness is like a dog that goes back to what it has thrown up. Ouch! Lets be real, when your in sin it feels good it feels right but not everything that feels good is good and not everything that feels right is right. There is a way that seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof are the ways of death (Proverbs 14:12). The fun, the partying is only for a season. There's an oldie song that says "what will you do when the party is over"? It won't be long before your down, and in need of the savior. Ya he'll forgive you if you ask for forgiveness, like the prodigal son but be careful not to play games He's a forgiving God but He's also a God that judges thee. A lot of people run to the house of the Lord only when they need Him, be careful not to turn the house of the God into a crack house where you only go for a quick fix. Don't you know that your body is the temple God ( 2 Corinthians 6:16). The lord knows all He sees all. Make up your mind stand up for righteousness tell your flesh, tell your soul like the book of Psalms says in chapter 103:1-5 Bless the Lord All my soul and All that is within me bless His holy name. bless the Lord, all my soul, and forget not all his benefits. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities who healeth all thy diseases, who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies; who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagles. Sometimes you just gotta command your soul to bless the Father, you gotta remember all that He's done for you, and all that He's brought you out of. knowing and standing assured that if He brought me out of that, He'll bring me out of this. Hallelujah! When your out in the world doing your thang you do your best to fit in, to be excepted, to become popular, to be liked and so on and so on. You do whatever it takes even though at times it hurts, you get stabbed in the back by people who you thought were your friends, but you keep on going cause your determined to be someone, even if it means sleeping around, getting stupid high, going on a beer run, getting into fights hey I'll do whatever it takes to get notice, to be respected, to be in the In crowd, cause you know what I'm down for mine. Come on know don't kid yourself into thinking that's cool, and ain't nothing gonna happen to me. You've heard that saying "what goes around comes around" that's a fact, jack. Let me give it to you in bible talk. Be not deceived God is not mocked for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap for he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the spirit shall of the spirit reap life everlasting (Ephesians 6:7-8). If you could just turn that mentality around and use it for the kingdom of God He will lift you up in such a way that man could have never done. He has given you the Holy Spirit that means He's given you power to overcome, power to endure. Remember this when you are weak your truly made strong in Him (2 Corinthians 12:9-10). This is true. Jesus said you will know the truth and the truth shall make you free (john 8:32) Jesus is the Word and there is truth in Him. L et God be true, but every man a liar (Romans 3:4) We all go through stuff man! We all fall short from the glory of God (Romans 7:15). Paul who was a man that was used mightily for God's glory, one who heard from God, who after giving his life to Jesus lived as holy and consecrated as possible, said: I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do (Romans 7:15). See even Paul fell short. Don't kick yourself around for messing up, don't think that God can't no longer use you. The gifts and calling of God are without repentance (Romance 11:29) that means that even if you mess up the gifts and callings are still evident in your life. Ask God to forgive you, so He can use you effectively for His Glory. Pick yourself up, keep pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus ( Philippians 3:14). Do you want to get to the place God has called, destined and promised you. Then you have to go through in order to get to. Let me say that again. In order to get to the place God has for ya you have to go through some stuff. If that means getting laughed at, getting criticize for your faith, getting hurt even by your own brothers and sisters in the Lord then be it. You don't focuse on men anyway, cause you know what? men will fail you but God will remain faithful. To whom it may concern your destined for greatness but you must first go through. To get to. I encourage you to rise up, don't give up I leave you with this scripture 1 peter 5:8-10. N.I.V version says control yourselves and be careful the devil your enemy, goes around like a roaring lion looking for someone to eat. Refuse to give in to him by standing strong in your faith; you know that your Christian family all over the world is having the same kinds of suffering. After you suffer for a short time God, who gives all grace, will make everything right. He will make you strong and support you and keep you from falling. He called you to share in his glory in Christ, a glory that will continue for ever. |
