| Thank you Jesus for "Another" |

14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; In John 14:16, Jesus said He would give us "another" Comforter ... the Holy Spirit.
In the greek language, there were 2 main words for "another." The word "allos" meant "another of the same sort. The word "heteros" meant "another of a different kind."
Jesus used "allos" ... saying the He would send someone who would be just like He was.
The Holy Spirit is to be to us what Jesus was to His disciples. Jesus had to leave, but everything He was doing was supposed to continue. Think about all the things that Jesus did with and for His disciples. On a daily basis, Jesus led them, taught them, provided for them, watched over them, and helped them in every way. In the same way, the Holy Spirit desires to be a part of our daily life ... guiding, leading, teaching, helping, encouraging, comforting, etc. Just as Jesus gave His disciples the ability to heal the sick, cast out demons, etc ... the Holy Spirit today empowers us to heal the sick, cast out demons, etc.
So what are you waiting for? Ask the Holy Spirit to be to you what Jesus was to His disciples !
Thank you Jesus! Hallelujah!
