Oh Soozanne, that's a tough one. The death of a child is so perplexing and painful --- though we're still praying for the miracle. ~mike

Thanks, Sooz.  I needed this reminder too.

This life is but a blip on the screen compared to what we have in store for us in Heaven.  It is wonderful when prayers are answered the way we want them to be, but in actuality, we have to accept that they aren't going to be answered as we want them to be 100% of the time...maybe not even 50%, but we still learn from each and every experience.  I will be praying for you and this child.

Mike, Kathy and Deb:  Thanks for praying with me.  God's the boss of this one.  I still don't like the "no"s, but I love my Savior - and I know he loves Taylor more than I do.   I've got to trust Him.  I'll keep you all updated about Taylor as I receive news.

Soozanne, what a great testimony here. So hard to do, so hard to walk it out, so hard to know how to pray, when to pray, and what to pray.

I often lift things to God in prayer, then forget about them. However, when they keep coming back to my heart, my prayers change to praying for me to understand His ways or for someone else to see His hand at work through it all.  Even with a sick child, if there is someway that someone can see God's hand in the process, sometimes, for me at least, it is easier. Maybe it is just a coping mechanism for me, but it has helped me a lot.

Thanks for your thoughts on this. It was really good to hear and to do some checks on my end.
