| Help, I’ve fallen and I can’t get up! |
|
| |
Have you ever been in a place in your life where you have fallen and you feel like you can’t recover? Have you ever been in a place where it appears to be no one around? Do your situation seems like the popular T.V. commercial with the famous punch line “Help, I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!”
Well, I want to encourage you that often times this is the place that God wants us to be, at a place that we will not move until He come and pick us up. That simple commercial, I believe gives us a profound metaphor to God’s provisions for us.
First, if and when we fall, learn from it for it brings about a level of humility.
Second, we press the button (signal the alarm by repentance prayer) to God.
Third, we express our need of Him – confessing, “Help, I’ve fallen”
Four, God sends someone to the rescue.
Whenever we are weak, He is made strong. The scripture states, 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
God’s grace is sufficient!!!!! If you have fallen and feel as though you can’t get up. Remember these four steps:
1. Humble yourself 2. Repent – sound the alarm 3. Express your need to Christ 4. Thank God for His help
God bless…..

| Now, that's real nice honey...Much more touchy feely than your delusion quiz! True...we just need to admit that we all fall short. Luv ya |

One other note! Sometimes the rescue will not come fast enough (in our mind); however, just wait on the Lord and be of good courage..... As the song writer said, "He is an on time God!" |

| He who thinks he lies alone does not, for when we die our spirit leaves our body and is brought forth by the angels to our Father who blesses us the way we have blessed him. With love. It is when we forget that Jesus lives for he lives within us, that we walk the streets of Hell alone for the devil joins not who he has corrupted but resends them out on missions of their own, while he continues to gain more souls. The Lord stays with us all the time. |

| This is so true when we acknowledge that against thee and thee only have I sinned. God can come in and do the healing that needs to take place. We constantly need God to heal our desires, because our ways are not his ways and our thoughts are not his thoughts. Great post. |
