Wow! I've said it over, and over, and over again. I am absolutely enamored and amazed by the valor I witness EVERY day - exhibited by our Nation's greatest resource . . . her sons and daughters who willingly volunteer to go into harms way.
I had the ability to meet with a group of personnel this past week whose story, quite frankly, could merit another book or movie in the vein of "Blackhawk Down!" Every one of the individuals gave glory and credit to GOD for miraculously delivering them from the "fires of hell." Literally, it is nothing short of a miracle that EVERY single one of them is able to physically on this earth . . . give glory to God.
As they all spoke, I was choking and swallowing hard to keep from crying. What impressed me most was their love for one another. Every single one of them came from varied racial backgrounds and walks of life . . . but they had one common bond - they were members of the Brotherhood of Arms . . . and their experiences solidified their friendship and love for each other - FOR LIFE! I told them I could not wait until "the light of eternity" to watch their situation played on the "big screen" of all creation - to see first hand how God miraculously delivered them and preserved their lives!! In the end, I asked permission if I and the others assisting in the facilitation of the group could join them in prayer. We all prayed giving thanks to God for His divine provision and miraculous deliverance. I then closed praying for God's continued "Protective Overwatch" over these Incredible Warriors for the remainder of their tour and until . . . He delivered them all safely home to their families and loved ones.
15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
God Bless all our men and women in uniform. You are backbone of the United States of America. You are loved, appreicated, thought of and prayed for daily.
