I am so grateful to God for showing me this website! I was really struggling with my food before God lead me to mychurch. My OA food sponsor quit OA and of course gave up her sponsorship of me. I did fine for the first few months, but then everything started to unravel. I found myself going back to old behaviors that I had not done or entertained the thought of for over a year and in some cases over two years. Since I began posting my food on mychurch everything has come back into line again. Yes, I may still have a bad day here and there, but I am much quicker to repent and go on rather than wallow in the self-pity of failure which perpetuates the addictive behavior. James 5:16-20 at work in my life!
Food Plan: Breakfast: 2 slices whole grain toast w/ 2 T almond butter Lunch: 2 1/2 c. chicken soup, popcorn w/2 t. olive oil Dinner: 1 1/2 c. chili, 1 serving corn chips, 2 T shredded cheese Snacks: Kashi bar, 1 slice of B-day cake OR 2 scoops ice cream (it depends on the cake) |
