About the hosts: Jason and Stacey, have 3 children; an 11yo girl, 6yo boy and a baby to be born in Jan 08. Jason is a law enforcement officer and Stacey is a stay at home mom. They are new to Omaha and have had great experiences and developed great friendships in small groups in the past. Stacey and Jason are enthusiastically seeking to improve their relationship the with the Lord and enjoy meeting new people and studying the Word of God within a small group setting. They want to create a small group that meets onTuesday and/or Thursday nights and is a family friendly environment where children are welcome to attend and play with their children while the adults dig into the Word of God. The group will meet at their home where there will be snacks and refreshments before and during each study. About the group: The primary purpose of this group will be to develop the hidden disciple within its members. The secondary purpose will be to develop strong and lasting friendships within the church. The group will seek to use the following verse as our motto: Eph 4:2 “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” But will also seek to push and challenge one another to develop their relationship with Christ, be more Christ like and develop discipleship in one another as well. Hopefully at the conclusion of the 4 part series (each part will be approximately 8-10 weeks), some if not all of the members will feel led to start and lead a small group of their own, in order to help reach CCC’s goal of having all of its members in a small group . The first part of the bible study will be a topical study on “Encouraging others in love.” The group will meet weekly on Tuesdays and/or Thursday evenings at 630PM – 830PM depending on the groups schedule. Due to the omcing baby we would like to start this group this Spring sometime around April.
If you are in the area and would like to join the group shoot us a message. Hurry because we are filling up fast!
Cheers and God Bless
