My Sistahs and Brothas,
I greet you in the name of Jesus. Here it is 3:33 a.m. it can't get any better than that. When I see 3's I think of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Thank you Jesus! I am wide awake.
Of course, I have a lot on my mind thinking, and praying for others during this time of grieving. My family will be having my grandfather's homegoing service on Monday Lord's will.
That's been a rather hard pill to swallow for me. When you used to live with your grandfather, and you think of how wonderful he was to take me, and my family in when I had lost my dad, and grandmother it's hard.
But, the Lord is providing, and comforting us all during this time. Right now, I have asked the Lord to please help me to be able to reach those or pray for those who need encouragement as well. I don't want it all to be on me if you know what I mean my sistahs and brothas.
I want to be all that the Lord has called me to be. I love Jesus for forgiven us so many times when we make careless mistakes that we should really know better. I tell you the truth my sistahs and brothas.....
The Lord has been dealing with me about how "we" take communion in His house. There's too many people taking it "unworthily" .
1 Corinthians Chapter 11:23-34
"23": For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
"24": And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
"25": After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
"26": For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
"27": Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
"28": But let a man examine himself: and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
"29": For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
"30": For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
"31": For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
"32": But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
"33": Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
"34": And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.
The bible said, that is why there are many that "sleep" and are "sick"....Precious Lord, open our spiritual eyes to see that this is done in remembrance of you. This is not a play thing. This could very "deadly" for some. I pray to our God in heaven, that even as saints if we have something in us that's not right before touching that sacred cup representing his "blood" and, that sacred piece of "bread" (wafer) "His Body"that we take the time to pray, and ask the Lord to remove any and everything that is NOT like HIM out of us.
During the last couple of weeks this message has stayed deep down in my soul. I was reading about it one night as my bible study. And after the revelation was made clear to me.....................I have never been the same again.
I must preach, and tell the Gospel truth to all that will listen. I have seen many come in off of the streets wanting to be a participant of the communion. Now, I'm sure they meant no harm....but, that's not the point. The bible is specific in WHO should take this, and WHO SHOULD stay away until they made themselves right before the Lord. Even saints who have a "fault" with one another should get that right before taking, drinking and then eating of it. This is HIS message. So my sistahs and brothas, I pray that you have a very blessed morning. Keep on lifting up the name of Jesus until that precious day. Time now is 4:30 a.m.
Peace be with you and your family in Jesus holy name
