I Love to Read, Discuss the Scriptures and welcome what the Lord has taught you about the scriptures.   For discussion purposes please choose a different color per person.  I choose green my favorite color..simply copy and past the scriptures for discussion and under each verse share what God has taught you.

Job 15:31 NIV • Read this chapter
Let him not deceive himself by trusting what is worthless, for he will get nothing in return.
I believe that this very scripture is the essence to soul searching....what is "our" soul foundation based upon..."if we are not deeply rooted in HIM-Jesus Christ then our life is nothing but a vapor".
Then our lives will produce nothing in return...we deceive ourselves...a pretense..."FAKE"!

Psalm 112:7 NIV • Read this chapter
He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD.
This scripture inturn is the complete opposite from the first one...
How "Awesome" it is to have such a relationship with Christ that "nothing shakes us" our hearts steadfast...Trusting in the Lord!!!!  Amen & Amen   This is where it's at...This is the scripture that I claim for my life...not that I always live this way...but this is my GOAL!  To be "Content In Him-"MY" Lord & Savior-Jesus Christ!!!

Isaiah 2:22 NIV • Read this chapter
Stop trusting in man, who has but a breath in his nostrils. Of what account is he?
In invision Christ taking me or one of "HIS" other children my the shoulders and shaking us and telling us this very statement!!!  Why, do you put your trust in man...they will only hurt you...not that they mean to, but they are only human.  They do not know what is best for you...I DO!  Then HE-JESUS CHRIST takes us in His arms and gives us one of those big bear hugs...Come here and wipes the tears from our eyes and makes it all better.   Thank You Jesus for Loving Us SOOOOOOOO Much!!!

Jeremiah 7:8 NIV • Read this chapter
But look, you are trusting in deceptive words that are worthless.
Here again, I hear the Lord chastising one of HIS OWN/or better still our Great Counselor...
sounds to me there is a debate going on with whom? Someone, ourselves, satan...
If we saturate ourselves with HIS WORDS...then we can take a stand with boldness on
TRUTH & WITHOUT FEAR!!! Doesn't it make you feel good to know that Almight God is "Our"
very own "Cheerleader"...He is pulling for you...do you know why...Because "WE ARE ON THE WINNING SIDE"  THE BATTLE IS ALREADY WON!  HE DID IT FOR US! ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS TAKE A STAND!!!

The Scriptures:  What do I feel about the scriptures..."THEY ARE ALIVE"..."THEY ARE THE INERRANT WORD OF GOD!! "Some will say you have randomly pulled scriptures out of context...I Believe that one scripture could stand alone.  God could use one scripture to Save someone.  I believe the "The Word" of God is like an "Onion" it has layers and layers and layers, the more your read it...not only the more you learn...but I believe the more is revealed to you by "The Holy Spirit".  How eager are you wanting to learn more about HIM!  It's Exciting...It's Alive!!!...It's Soooooooo Real!!!
