God Be All The Glory! To give you a little back ground of the precious men and women that God has trusted us to love on. We minister in the inner city area right out side of downtown Raleigh reaching out to the community. God blessed us with a keyboard almost a year ago. On Saturday as we was working to prepare for our first service in our new building. Mr. Perry a poor man (61 years old) that has been victim to the wine for many, many years. Came by and said he was the piano man. He came in the church and the anoiting of the Lord feel as he began to play as if it was only yesterday that he played in the church and he had the most beautiful voice that blessed our Lord as he poured out his heart in song. We ministered to Him and cryed tears of joy with him, because he was so happy that the Lord had not taken his gift of music from him when he feel away. The next morning he showed up to praise the Lord with us and He came up and we allowed him to play the keyboard, and as the congregation would start to sing he would play the tune. We all was in awe in how much God really love us, to allow us to witness such happiness, one of the ladies from the Helen Wright Shelter (homeless) was visiting and she jumped in and lead a song ( it was like a movie). When she left she said she was so happy and enjoyed it so much that she would be back and bring her sister. As for the Serenity Family, we are so blessed to witness and feel God touching, and loving and warming the hearts of his little children finding their way back home! Thank you Lord God! For Blessing us so greatly! We are so Blessed! So Blessed! Please keep Mr. Perry lifted in prayer he is affraid of the annoiting that God has on his life. He answered that call at a early age and it scared him. He was a great piano player for the gospel and out of shame he has been hiding out in the streets. Pray for the young lady (and all the ladies in the Helen Wright Center) and her sister. Amen! |
