| A Special Place For Those Who Fear God (Mal. 3:16-17) |

3:16 Then they that feared Jehovah spake one with another; and Jehovah hearkened, and heard, and a book of remembrance was written before him, for them that feared Jehovah, and that thought upon his name. 3:17 And they shall be mine, saith Jehovah of hosts, `even' mine own possession, in the day that I make; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. There has always been two sets of people, those who trusted Him and those who did not. It is refreshing to know that a faithful God will never forsake those who follow Him. In fact, they have a vey special place in His heart and in His plan. The old hymn puts it in perspective: "trust and obey, for there is no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey". It is interesting to notice the attitude and behavior of such people. "They spoke with one another" What were they speaking? A better question would be "What else other than their relationship with the Lord could they have been speaking?" Another thing that they did was "they meditated on His name." For this group of people, their life and everything that surrounded it was only about their God. The result is that God will "make them precious as Jewels" What a blessed thought! |
