| God wants a relationship with you. |

| A lot of people beleive that that when you give your life to Christ you become religious. Jesus actually hates religion. He wants a relationship with you. He wants you to trust him and lean on him for everything. Jesus wants to help you make every decision in your life. Not because he's some kind of power freak. But he knows what's best for you. He knows what kind of effect your decsions have before you make them. Religion is just going through the motions. The Scribes, Pharasies, and Saducies were the "holy" people in Jesus' days. They were the teachers of God's laws. On the outside they looked like they were tight with God. But it was all for show. They were fakes. They didn't sin in public, they had scripture memorized, and they gave to the temple. But Jesus always opposed them. Because he knew their hearts. He knew what they did when no one was looking. Jesus knew their true intentions. The "religious" Jews are the ones that atually had Jesus crucified. Religion is dead. It's when serving God becomes a burden to you. You don't serve God because you have to. You serve God because you want to. It's when you understand that Jesus gave his life so you no longer have to experience hell, but instead you undeservingly get to spend eternity with God in heaven. If you want a relationship with God repeat this prayer: God, I beleive you sent your son Jesus to die for my sins. And I beleive he rose from the dead. Forgive me of my sins. I know I'm a sinner and I deserve hell. But for some reason you decided to save me. I want you to start helping my make decisions. And I want a real relationship with you. Amen. |
