So....I finally REALLY did it. I threw out the "fat pants."
You girls know what I'm talking about....the pants that you keep around just in case you gain a few extra pounds!!
Since July (when I was diagnosed with some medical problems that FINALLY explain EVERYTHING about me!!!) I have been trying to battle the disease that I have and lose weight (which, ironically helps the symptms)
ANYWHO. I've fallen off the wagon some weeks....well to be honest there were some weeks that I fell off the wagon, burned it, and threw the ashed in the river!!!
But I'm happy to say that I've lost 30 lbs. since July 15th. (Which is an AMAZING feat for someone with my "condition.:)
So....after about 4 months of my Aunt complaining about the way that my jeans fit I FINALLY got out the "skinney" jeans....JUST to see if I could squeeze into them.
THEY FIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So fo the last few weeks I've been PROUDLY donning my "skinney" jeans. BUT I've kept the "fat jeans" in my closet.....just in case.
Tonight I threw them out...there is NO PLAN 'B'!! I WILL continue on this path....I WILL NOT be distracted!!!
Here's the funny part.....
For those of you who know me well....God speaks to me through WEIRD things!!
This was one of them.
We all have "fat pants" in our spiritual closet.....those secret sins that we just ca't let go of.
God wants us to throw them out! As you draw coser to Him HE will make sure that you don't stray from the path that you're on.
Just as I'm NEVER going to be o.k. with being the weight/ size that my "fat pants" represent....We're NEVER going to be fully able to be used until we let go of ALL the sin "that so easily entangles us."
