The interview with Red Herring was a lot longer than just those little sound bytes that ended up in the article. This story ended up on the front page of Digg.com for a few hours, so it got us some exposure. I just wish it reflected MyChurch in a better light.
I mentioned 2 things in the interview that I hoped the article would cover. One is that we're doing away with this silly 10MB free quota. And two is that we're reserving 10% of what we make to various non-profits or churches of our choosing.
I guess that 10% means nothing since we're making nothing now. Who wants 10% of $0?
I want to improve my interviewing skills. Why and how does the press pick up on certain aspects? We've got a live interview on a Christian radio station coming up. Often times when I speak, I stumble for words or say the wrong things. Part of me doesn't want to think about this radio interview - I'll get nervous if I do! But the pragmatic side of me knows I need to look into self-improvement in this realm.
If anyone has some good (short) resources on interviewing, please send them my way.
