When You're Down in the Dumps... :)

I look at "my babies" and it makes me feel so much better.  There is an amazing power in children to uplift even the most down-trodden and sad. 



This photo is from one of my former students.  We went outside to play with water, and he wrote "cheerful" all by himself!  Hallmark can't even make pictures that are this cute. 



This little guy has had a rough go in his short 6 years, but when you look at him here reading a book, he looks like an angel. 

19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for to such belongeth the kingdom of heaven.


I'm so lucky to be a teacher.  :)

Kelly and they are so blessed to have you!!! I am sure there are kids  you will never forget and ones that will never forget you.  I had a little girl in my neighborhood who I taught to make potholders on the little loom with the colorful loops....she moved away and I always wondered about her until one day after learning to drive she came back to the old neighborhood just to see me!!!  It tickeled me so.

It is amazing what children can do in the hearts of people. Perhaps that's what Jesus meant when He said, have faith like a child. God bless.
