Yesterday morning, at church, I was overwhelmed with gratitude, sadness, humbleness, thankfulness and love for my Lord and Savior. Not to say that I don’t feel that way every week, but this week, I was moved to tears during a song that was sung.

What was different about this Sunday is that it was Youth Sunday, where the youth of our church had put together the service with singing, skits, and a sermon all done by them. One song in particular, even though I have sung it before, just hit me with a powerful impact, and I started crying…tears just rolling down my face. I probably would have started sobbing if I had not been in church (I am not one to display my emotions). This is the song, called “Above All”...

Sometimes when I think of what Jesus did for me, I am just overwhelmed. To think of all I have done wrong and that He has given me life and wiped the slate clean. I can never repay Him, never thank Him enough. I love Him so much!  I felt His presence with me yesterday in church as tangible as if He were sitting beside me.  I know He is always with me, but I don't always feel the presence like I did yesterday, as strongly and sure as anything.  Thank you Lord, for making yourself known in that place and in that song.
