I don't think we LIKE watching Jesus die for sin...it isn't pretty. It always does me good to come face to face with the single most important thing in life...Jesus' offer of salvation. It reminds me that there is no other way under heaven whereby we must be saved. (And this is easy to be confused about when you read about India being so very fervently religious in every aspect of life...with many conflicting religions; where not many have even heard of the name of Jesus). But think what Jesus must have had to go through for eternity watching everyone sin...that wasn't pretty to Him, also He hated having to send us all to hell for our choices. And no one was choosing to be perfect enough to deserve anything else. I would like to hear the music added to "THE PASSION" that has an Eastern quality...it's o.k. to have Country Western and Irish fiddle tunes but Jesus did live in Israel and it sort of fits better. <:))))>< Connie...on my way to India so naturally if you stick me I bleed India all over everything. |

| Cheryl, MaKelly, Larry, Arlene, JayKTX, Connie, thank you all for your comments. A friend of mine sent me an e-mail this evening and wanted me to check out this video. I must say that it really made an impact on me. The Holy Spirit used it to remind me of the cross. |

| Pastor Tim I too saw the movie, and it is hard to imagine sometimes how anyone can watch how Jesus suffered and not love Him for what He did for us. How His mother must have suffered as well that day, my heart breaks for her and the pain she must have felt, and for His Father, our Father, how it must have pained Him to have to turn His back on His only Son, for ME.....He did it all for ME!!!!! How can I not love and be thankful that my Heavenly Father loved me so much. I cannot fathom a love that is deeper than any love we here on earth have ever felt. I love my family, but my love is just a drop in the bucket compared to the love of my Father. The video was wonderful.....thank you for sharing. |

| This was a good video using the combination of Mel Gibson's Passion of the Christ, the song- which I had never heard before, and the scripture verses. I like them paired together. I was glad Gibson didn't listen to all the negative reactions when he began his production, but persevered and saw it through. I think the film is a powerful representation of Christ's last days. I also appreciate that he did not end the film with His death- but showed that He is now living. |
