If You Can't Take It
=====================
On most mornings, I frequent the German Cantina for my usual
intake of ham and eggs. My normal meal is scrambled "light"
and mixed with an abundance of ham. Normally, the eggs are
not the way that I would have preferred them, but after a few
more orders and comments, my order became just what I wanted
it to be.
This morning was like any other one except something told me
to look under the aluminum foil.
To my dismay, the eggs were on one side and the ham on the
other.
This definitely was not the way that I wanted it.
The "flesh" wanted to speak aloud to prove a point, but the
Sunday's sermon of "If you can't take it, then you can't make
it" took seed.
The first thought that germinated in my heart and mind was
that there were people who didn't have the choice of how they
wanted their ham and eggs because there wasn't any to have.
In life we get bent out of shape about such trivial issues.
