32:10 He found him in a desert land, And in the waste howling wilderness; He compassed him about, he cared for him, He kept him as the apple of his eye. 32:11 As an eagle that stirreth up her nest, That fluttereth over her young, He spread abroad his wings, he took them, He bare them on his pinions. 32:12 Jehovah alone did lead him, And there was no foreign god with him. 32:13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, And he did eat the increase of the field; And he made him to suck honey out of the rock, And oil out of the flinty rock; 32:14 Butter of the herd, and milk of the flock, With fat of lambs, And rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, With the finest of the wheat; And of the blood of the grape thou drankest wine. Some one gave me an article About eagles after a cell group meeting. I always Liked the references to Eagles in the Bible, but lately I'm finding that there's a big old batch of rebellion I have to watch out for. I've been struggling into manhood lately and have found the Men's fraturnity to be invaluable. This week we would be discovering what to do about the overly bonded Mother wound. Something that I struggle with. Even though my Mom lives 5 and a half hours away. I'm finding that those apron strings can really reach out there.
The question for me is how to break free of them while still honoring Mom. How to grow up while Obeying the 3rd Commandment. I'm always going to be accountable to someone. God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Pastor, and Brother's and Sister's in Christ. Boss at work, Civil Authorities.
It always amazes me that King David remained Loyal to Saul regardless. I guess I gotta respect that annointing.
I'm gonna miss the Men's Fraturnity this week. I'll miss my Brother's in Christ quite a bit. I really regret being sick and missing Church last Sunday. Fellowship is becoming more important all the time. As I see the need to come under Christ's authority. |
