| Introduction to my first blog ever...prepare to be amazed! |
|
| |
| This is my blog. I will introduce myself first, and then we will get going. Have fun! All you need to know about me is that If you don't know me, you ought to know me...because as far as I know, you can't know much better than me. Believe me, I know. I've searched far and wide for someone worth knowing as much as one should know me, but with zero success. If you want to attempt this feat for yourself as well, than go ahead...but I can tell you now, you would save a whole mess of time if you would just stop here. Now that I have introduced myself, I shall let you in on a few of my favorite things(like the song)and the worth while stuff I enjoy doing with my precious time... To begin, I don't like doing things that are boring, or being around boring people, because they do things that are boring. Also, I am an artist; I don't like anything that doesn't have at least something to do with art. I engaged in an intelligent conversation with a friend of mine a few days ago; we discussed many a subject. One in particular involved how much of a sad life it must be NOT being an artist...As artists, we(as in pretty much everybody I enjoy being around)see the world and everything in it as art. We can take the simplest thing and see the beauty in it. Others(as in people who are boring)cannot. We discussed how sorry we feel for people who fall under the "others" catagory, and the fact that they have to come up with other ways to amuse themselves, while we, the artists, can sit one a beach and do nothing for an hour while the sun sets; the beauty keeping us entertained. We also discussed our theory that there are only four people groups: Artists: Anyone creative and able to contribute to civilization and society. i.e. Musicians, Dancers, Filmmakers, Photographers, Writers, Architects, and Scientists. Yes, science is an art... Athletes(Jocks): People who are good at sports, good at getting chicks, but bad at everything else. i.e. Baseball Stars, Football Stars, Basketball Stars, and everything in between, with the exception of Bowling Stars. Bowlers are all drunk and overweight, meaning they cannot get chicks. The ability to get chicks easily must be present in order to be considered an athlete; bowlers are not athletes. Which takes us to our next people group. Red-necks: Hicks, Farmers, and Bowlers...while profficient in the of bull riding and other hick-like activities, Hicks do not do anything else that would be considered worthwhile and not stupid. Farmers do grow most of the food we eat, but It's nothing that a fully automated hydroponics facility couldn't do. Hicks also contribute most of the inbread people in the world, for the simple fact that cousins marry each other. I suppose constuction workers could fall somewhere under this catergory as well; they are the pawns of the architect. Nerds: They can't do anything. They have the ability to play stupid games and assume the roll of the character they are using. They do not reside on the normal plane of existence. They also play video games way too much, mostly beacause their brains are completely unable to generate thoughts of their own, and must be stimulated by outside sources, otherwise, they would simply stop working, if you consider them to be working at all to begin with. I am an artist. I emrace my eccentricities and wouldn't have it any other way. I am considered weird, but I don't mind. I can keep myself occupied with unlimited resources. I like it this way. I enjoy playing music, painting, photography, science, filmmaking, writing, and architecture. I am an artist. more to come in later days, but right now, I'm not in the mood to write anymore. I think I'm going to go do something else. |

Ok, as your aunt I can see that I need to pray for you a little more ;) I love you and I love that you are such an "Artist"!!! I guess I would be considered your boring person, unless I can be cool by association to a very cool Uncle, niece, nephew and son :)
Love you, Auntie Kelli |
