| We were almost there...just a turn away, but we took a left one left too quick. JHo's Armada was stuck on a 60degree incline of loose rock (larger than gravel). We realized it was the wrong turn (mainly because we couldn't go any further)too late. We made the women get out of the car, because it was too dangerous---as in it might roll over into a deep abyss. We tried to maneuver, but were beginning to slide and were stuck. I had to climb out the window just to see if I could help JHo get unstuck. It hit me...how will this end? ...as I was sticking a tree limb under the rr tire. That helped but wasn't cutting it. Fortunately Joel had recently read Popular Mechanics and the Top 25 things Men need to know. So we placed a big rock behind the tire and the car mat in front of the tire. It ended well. Yeah, a prayer was slipped in between there. We were thankful to roll down the hill and make our destination. Pastor and WL fall into the abyss---didn't end that way. PTL! |
