| God's Got It |

This is something that God laid on my heart. Sometimes we get so preoccupied with the things of this life and the problems we face that we forget about the problem solver. God told us man that is born of a woman is few days, and full of trouble. Man is inclusive meaning everyone has problems rich, poor, black, white, green, Christians, and non Christians. We all are faced with difficulties, but God has made a promise to his children: that many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. There is nothing to hard for God to do, and if decides not to. It's not because he can't. I remember hearing a song: anyway you bless me Lord I'll be satisfied. God can either change the problem or change our attitude towards the problem, but either way deliverance has still taken place. We must align ourselves with the word of God..in order to inherit the promises of God. Below is a passage that God impressed upon my heart to uplift my spirit. I hope and pray it does the same for the person praying for a breakthrough, and know that God's not through blessing you. 19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! 24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. 25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. |

Thanks so much for this reminder! It's so easy to focus on what's going on around us, but we need to keep our eyes and hearts focused on Jesus and eternal "things." |

AWESOME blog Terry. It brought back to my remembrance of when I was in nursing school. I was taking a computer class and for the power point chapter, we had to do a power point presentation with music and pictures....well i'm sure you know what I did mine on....EBONY! The birth, the diagnosis, the heart surgery, the early intervention we got her in when she was JUST THREE weeks young. I thank God for having the people in my life at the time who got us linked to the resources in Kansas and of course without GOD....i would have had no hope at all. Anyway, at the end of the presentation, a few cried, 2-3 asked how much delay she had....but my instructor asked the mind boggling question. She asked.....when we got the news...how did we take it. I told her....at first we were floored, but with holy boldness i responded...IT'S IN GOD'S hands. and you know what...i stand on that even today. She's doing wonderful, but GOD'S GOT IT and I give credit for all of her achievements not to myself, not to her therapists, not the school system, but to God who has worked THROUGH all of those mentioned. Excellent blog....your blogs seem to always remind me of the Goodness of my DADDY...SEE i make it personal. He's my everything! |
