You said: "Believing these things won't put anybody at odds with the spirit of the historical Jesus, but being arrogant and judgmental about it certainly will." I certainly agree with that. You really do research and I like that. Good blog!

Yeah it is true.  Most would put this guy down being ex-SDA but much of what he says is simple truth.  Once we remove our religious dark glasses, we may just see things for what they are.

I will post more of his stuff as I research it but it takes time and needs to be reformatted.  It amazes me how much more compassion we learn the older we get, well for most of us anyway. I guess this is the way the Lord needs to deal with each one of us individually, yet I do see younguns also showing this love at a tender age of 17, imagine how much love they will exude at our age.

Thanks for the compliment but it is all praise to God.

It takes a life time breaking away from our belief systems. Most of us just haven't the knowledge of security in Christ to make the voyage. I think we first have to get to that point in life where we understand that God understands that we need space and time to make some doctrinal mistakes to make that journey without threats of fear by failure along the way. Without fear of God, we then can be free to decide what is the best understanding in what we serve as Truth in our limited comprehension skills.

Very interesting post by the way.

TY for those kind words KW

I discovered his stuff last year and the original sites were disappearing one by one.  Lucky I got most of his good stuff and sure wish I could get more.  Actually his life is a journey of discovery and I think I am a bit like him.

I kinda see myself as the de-myst button on Christendom.  There are sooo many myths and man-made doctrines that need to be challenged - we all see a bit of the light but there is so much mysticism still attached to the whole concept of who God and Jesus are.  As you have probably gathered - Father's Love is what I espouse and with that there comes a re-look at many things.

Some have called me a teacher but I am more of an explorer journaling my discoveries in my walk.

Blessings

Bernie
