Okay here come the updates....instead of one hip being broke it was both hips and on one hip the socket was also shattered....he went thru surgery this morning with flying colors (Thank you again God)....they had told him that he may have to undergo several surgeries to repair all the damage but they would try to do it in one (again Praise God).....it only took ONE  four hour long surgery...he will have to wear a halo around his hips and no weight on the legs for 3 months.....Please continue to pray for his recovery and the strength of his family as he has a long recovery road ahead of him....all things considered He is in good spirits thankful to be alive and that no one else was hurt.. joking with nurses trying to convince them that his 100lb tiny wife is She-Ra and can take him home now and take care of him... needless to say he doesn't like hospitals (but I don't know anyone that really does)

Thank you to all those who are praying for my Brother and his family

Update....They have him sitting up.  He is running fever and they believe he may have Pneumonia.  I have been told that this is common after surgery and that the sitting up should help.  I spoke with him today (He sounds weak) when I asked him how he was doing he said not to worry about him he was just being a wimp.  I will give a full update when I return from seeing him this weekend.  Again I thank you for all your Prayers.

Update...Ken is doing well.  He is now on a cane for balance but able to put weight on both legs.  He is going thru rehab. again to help strengthen those muscles that help you to balance then he shouldn't even need the cane.  Should be able to return to work soon.  Thanks for all the Prayers.

Update...Ken just recently had to have another surgery this time for a hernia he developed during physical therapy which of course he tried to hide until the point it was the size of a softball and could not be hidden any longer the surgery took 3 hrs. because of all the scar tissue from previous surgeries.  He came through surgery fine and returned to work in a matter of days.  My Mom went to help the week of his surgery.  She called me crying after he had went to bed the first night she got there.  She said he has to work so hard at everything he does and you can see the pain but he keeps right on going.  It's hard for me to imagine he sounds so good over the phone you wouldn't think he had a trouble in the world.  Don't get me wrong he has come so far he is now walking without a cane and has returned to work.  Things could be worse I know; Thank God that they are not.  He has a severe limp and of course alot of pain.  The doctors say that he could actually be even limp free within a year.  So I know it's not all bad it's just hard to know that someone you love is in that much pain and there is nothing you can do to even so much a ease it in anyway.  I just Thank God that He has kept Ken's spirits up.  Thank You for all your Prayers.

Ken came down a couple of weeks ago.  He's doing really well. Still has a noticable limp and you can see the pain in his face when he has to stand for very long but will still insist upon giving his sit to a lady (gotta love that) He has lost a lot of weight he tried to tell me he is just buying larger clothes so everyone will think he's losing weight (yeah whatever!) all in all his spirits are good and progress is great.  Thank you for all your prayers.
