Amen, Job!   You've put into positive words the action that needs to take place.  Thank you for being positive and wise, not judgemental.

this is so true.... we as a Body need to be restored so we can work. Since the "Body" is sick, then it cannot truly minister to the world who is sick. We need to pray, fast and fast for the cause of Christ so recieve His balm of grace to extend to the world.

What a wonderful posts. God bless...

Thank you, Lara and Solemusiq, there are still a remnant in the Body of Christ in all nations including Canada and USA.  Our churches need to be revived.

Amen to all.  Important post, Job.  There is even now a breaking forth of new types of leadership, fresh hunger for holiness and deeper intimacy with the Lord, and divine discontent with a faithwalk that only "sort of" works.  The Spirit is stirring up a desperation that is emerging as a cry to the winds if no one else will listen, a prophetic cry to the dry bones.  As Pete Grieg wrote in "The Vision",  "...you see bones, I see an army..."  Elijah is rising, so to speak, with fresh boldness and power.  "Elijah truly shall come first, and restore all things..."--Matt 17:11

Don,

Jesus said Elijah had come.  We have in our midst the servants of God in the spirit and power of Elijah, preparing the way for the second advent of our Lord Jesus Christ, crying in the wilderness like John the Baptist.

RESTORATION IS THE WORK OF THE BODY OF CHRIST.
Some Christians fear that any mistake will destroy their witness for the Lord. They see their own weaknesses, and they know that many non-Christians seem to have stronger character than they do. How can we grow up into Christ? The answer is that Christ forms us into a body-into a group of individuals who are united in their purpose and in their love for one another and for the Lord. If an individual stumbles, the rest of the group is there to pick that person up and help him or her walk with God again. If an individual sins, restoration can be found through the church (Galatians 6:1) even as the rest of the body continues to witness to God’s truth. As part of Christ’s body, do
you reflect part of Christ’s character and carry out your special role in his work?

HOW IS THE CHURCH SUPPOSED TO FUNCTION TOGETHER?
Romans 12:3-6 . . . Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are all parts of his one body, and each of us has different work to do. And since we are all one body in Christ, we belong to each other, and each of us needs all the others. God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well.
Ephesians 4:16 . . . Under his direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.
God intends the different members of the body to find their places and to function in their areas of ministry, so that the body can be spiritual healthy.
Ephesians 4:1-6 . . . Always keep yourselves united in the Holy Spirit, and bind yourselves together with peace. We are all one body, we have the same Spirit, and we have all been called to the same glorious future. There is only one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and there is only one God and Father, who is over us all and in us all and living through us all.
God especially desires unity and peace in the church, because this accurately portrays the truth about God and our faith.
