"In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation."  Psalm 5:3

This was in my daily Psalms reading yesterday.  I first thought about how it went along with Pastor Andy's sermon on Sunday -- about spending time with the Lord in the morning -- to start off our day right.

But then this verse spoke to me in another way --  "and wait in expectation...."  what an example in having faith that the Lord will answer our prayers.  We should lay our requests before the Lord in prayer, and then just wait on the Lord to answer our prayers.
