I was meditating on Psalm 51:2 that says, "Wash me thouroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from all my sin." As I read this, I began to try and understand what the question was really asking for. I decided: a solution. Researchers search for years trying to figure out solutions that will remove stains from various materials w/o ruining that specific material. How when we get a stain on a shirt or something, we automatically think, "It's ruined." and that there is no hope. That is our mindset not only when it comes to our clothing but also our life. In today's generation, when/if you mess up, you are automatically labeled. Ex: If you slip up and slip in to what the world does, you are just another statistic with no hope! Sad part of it all is that it is a lie that the world feeds this generation, and that the Church (Body of Christ) does not entirely disreguard. Many times the Church actually labels more quickly than the world. When, as the Church, we ought to step out and step up and bring truth to this lie, expose light in the darkness... That there is ONE solution that can remove ANY stain from ANY material (aka life.) Doesn't matter how long it's sat, how "settled" it is, and or what kind of material (aka life)... The Blood of Jesus will remove any stain and at the same time completely restore the material to it's original. This is the truth that we ought to be feeding to this generation...
Isn't it sad that THIS generation is the MOST unreached generation in History, and yet the easiest to reach...
So I encourage you, When you step in, you ought to "turn the lights on", and make them (the world) thirsty. Be the light and the salt.
