It is good you should take time to remember our troops. I am in the "West Roxbury" Va Hospital right now and being treated for my cancer which I received while in service for my country a long time ago. Last night when I got back to my room there was a small box of cookies on it and it thanked me for the sacrafise I made for my country. I must admit. I felt tears in my eyes. It is so very nice to hear that some people have even a slight idea of what we, and others will always go through for this great nation of ours. So, untill the rerturn of our Lord whom we look forward to for pease.
I thank you from the bottom of my herat as all do for remembering our brave men and women searving those lonely outpost all over the word. Buy the way. Please think of the 4,5000 or more who are still unacounted for from Vietnam. Most, of which were non returned POW's because of a promiss never kept by our government to give 5 billion dollars to the Communist to help rebuild North Vietnam.

Our local Golden Corral restaurant is giving free dinners to all Veterans and their families on Veterans Day...I think that is awesome of them....

Many of my family have served in several branches of the Armed Forces, and I have one uncle who served both in Viet Nam and Desert Storm...because of them and all of the other men and women who have served in the Armed Forces over the years, we still have the freedom to worship our great God in this country, although that freedom is being challenged. We need to join the fight here at home to ensure that we keep this freedom.

I was reading in the newspaper today that almost 20% of all the homeless people are Veterans. How sad. What can we as private citizens to to help?

God Bless You All!

Thank you all for your comments! I pray that we as well as others are challenged to take action... the action to love, encourage, take care of our fellow man and support those who give their lives for us! More than on holidays and dates set aside in honor, but everyday! They need us everyday!
