| I'm not dead |
|

Hay y'all, I finally got a free second. I been so busy that it would take 3 folks to talk about it. Long story short, I got a new double wide but it was too big to fit in my yard (should have measured first). I was forced to park the thang on the street in half, and live in the bedroom-half. We didn't have no phone or nothin. Rich let us take showers at his place during the whole ordeal.
Well, after a couple weeks Kathy got mad and said she was gonna leave me if I didn't do somethin. So I had to saw about 3 feet off the end, and then fix up the hole. Took me a week to do that. When we got everythang moved in I flipped the breaker and heard a loud boom. Turns out that when I cut the end of the trailor off I messed up some wires. It blew a transformer and the whole trailor park was without power for 3 days. To make it worse, the boom was so loud it busted the windows out of my nieghbors truck, and deafened my other neighbors dog. The dog cain't hear nothin and my neighbor is makin me pay the vet bills. Kathy got so mad that she left me, took the kids, and went to her momma's house.
That night I called Kathy and we worked thangs out. But she said she won't commin home till I got everythang fixed. So from then till now, I been workin my tail off. I finally got everythang fixed today. I flipped the breaker and the electricity came on like normal. So praise the Lord, Kathy is commin home tonight!
I just got the computer hooked back up, so I could tell all my mychurch friends where I been. Hopefully my life will be back to normal now. I just keep thinkin about Romans 8:28: All thangs work together for the good of them that love the Lord and are called according to His purpous. I cain't see how nothin good is gonna come from this ordeal, but i am walkin by faith, praisin the Lord anyhow.
Love to all y'all and God bless, BillyRay |

Mullet, I'm so glad to hear from you. Now after Kathy and the kids are back and all is well, then you and I gonna have a long talk. See I'm visual... and well... I'm also a bit nosy.... so.. I wanna know: 1. how does one split a trailer in half 2. how does one cut of the end 3. how does one make it whole again???
Not now.... one day way later.... let's talk. Yes, all things do work together for the good for those who love the Lord, and who are called according to His purpose... You are a walking testimony to that.
Love ya, Pastor Aminata |

| I'm sorry Mullet. The title for this blog reminds me of the guy in Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grail that kept saying "I'm not yet dead", "I want to go for a walk", "I feel happy! I feel happy!" |

| I'm with Cathy--are you for real? I mean your story sounds like a plot for "My Name is Earl". Maybe you should apply for a job as a writer for that show. |

I have missed your blogs! I thought at first you were just pullin our leg with this blog, but then I realized it had to be true because......."truth is stranger than fiction"!
Glad you're back and that your wife and kids are back. Motherhood alone is enough to drive a mom into the looney bin....any additional stress (like having one's home in different pieces!) can really push us over the edge :) |
