14:23 Jesus said to him in answer, If anyone has love for me, he will keep my words: and he will be dear to my Father; and we will come to him and make our living-place with him. 14:24 He who has no love for me does not keep my words; and the word which you are hearing is not my word but the Father's who sent me. 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we are false to ourselves and there is nothing true in us. 1:9 If we say openly that we have done wrong, he is upright and true to his word, giving us forgiveness of sins and making us clean from all evil. 1:10 If we say that we have no sin, we make him false and his word is not in us.
2:3 And by this we may be certain that we have knowledge of him, if we keep his laws. 2:4 The man who says, I have knowledge of him, and does not keep his laws, is false, and there is nothing true in him: 2:5 But in every man who keeps his word, the love of God is made complete. By this we may be certain that we are in him: 2:6 He who says that he is living in him, will do as he did. 2:7 My loved ones, I do not give you a new law, but an old law which you had from the first; this old law is the word which came to your ears. 2:8 Again, I give you a new law, which is true in him and in you; for the night is near its end and the true light is even now shining out. 2:9 He who says that he is in the light, and has hate in his heart for his brother, is still in the dark. With all that's going on in the world these days; War, addictions f every kind, I think it's more important that we are loving one another. Not attacking one another. If our lord sees to fit to bless this mnistry or that ministry with whatever. I still think I'm responsible to be greatful for the 89 Mazda I'm driving, and learning to be a stewart of what I have, not to be jumping on this band wagon or that band wagon as many choose to point fingers at those God has chosen to bless with this ministry or that ministry.
Still I believe I need to pray for discernment regarding spirits. I do have a pastor of the local body that I fellowship with. I have an obligation to be transparent and to accept the authority of my pastor and the elders of my local church. But really if I choose to act out in jealousy towards those god has blessed with various Mega Ministries.
Well we all have out own walk to be accountable. I have plenty of flaws, God is working with those in his own time. Personally I find love to be enough of a challenge as I learn to Love and Adore the savior of our soul.
You know the Lord's prayer is probably a corporate prayer for a reason. |

| We all need discernment regarding spirits, I'm convinced our battles are at least 90% spiritual. |

| Thanks Mike At least 90%. Sometimes it seems like the enemy likes to plant a rotten seedthen make me feel guilty for the seed that he planted. |

| Dave, for some of us, learning to love took a very long time. I am not saying I have it down now, but if I had known just the basics of love 30 some years ago, what a different person I would have been...great post. |

Beautiful post Dave...MaKelly said sometime I interprete as thank goodness we are only commanded to love one another...we don;t have to like me, or the ways I behave, but the fact that I know I am love, well that gives me a great start in the race to find GRACE and accept it B4 I die.
Thanks again dave for the post. MaKelly, I hope I understood.if not..please forgive and correct me. I God's love |

| Gee....what brought this on??? lol Good thing I repented! Confessed my sin...yeah. Because really, in a sense I was attacking too! Attacking those who were attacking...ironic and hipocritical, huh? My point was what you are saying; love, love, love.....love covers over a multitude of sins...if sins are even present. lol |

| I read somewhere that Mother Theresa was asked to participate in a Anti War demonstration and she refused sayin that she was Pro Peace. Nope I was just thinking of myself and how I need to practice this kind of thing. |

Good blog Dave!
If we discovered that we had five minutes left to say all we wanted to say, every telephone booth would be occupied by people calling other people to stammer that they love them. Why wait until the last five minutes? C. Morley, in Homemade, July, 1990. |
