On another discussion forum this question came up (that is in green above).

Here is what someone just sent:

I'm gonna hypothesize for the fun of it. I suggest that there are exactly as many wills as there are persons. In fact, I shall go way out on a limb and hypothesize that each of us has only one will originating with ourselves and that this one will is both "free will" and "self will". I arrive at this deduction regarding the will in the same way that the soul is only one, though it may be influenced by the spirit or by the flesh. So, I suggest, finally, that "self-will" is just "free will" influenced by the flesh. That's my theory and I'm stickin' to it!
