Wow, Pastor Tim!  That's some list you have there!  Now wonder you study so much!

Birdie:  Great list!  And you have already accomplished #3 from where I am sitting :)

Cj:  Amen Sister!  I am with you on the soul winning!  And we both love to travel!  Please do come back if you think of more :)

1.  finish my bachelors and go on to a masters & doctorate
2.  travel the world preaching the gospel & see the captives set free ( I have had this in my heart since 1989!)
3.  write the two books I have on my heart
4.  speak fluet Italian and Spanish

I would like to do these things because I believe they are in my heart to accomplish.  Yet there is a part of me singing out "Come quickly, Lord Jesus".  Heaven holds so many people that I want to be with.  A friend of mine says, "If we really knew what heaven was like we'd all be throwing ourselves in front of buses".  In other words, we'd be doing whatever we could to get there.  I believe not knowing is what keeps those things in our hearts desirable to us.  Otherwise how many of us would really choose to stay here?  Things here can be so very difficult.  There have been times in my life where I was praying, "Rapture now, Lord, rapture now"!  Anyway, the point of all the rambling is that while I have these things burning in my heart that I want to do on earth, I would not trade them for what awaits me on the other side.

Still, Coreena's last sentence says it all...

To be all that God wants me to be
To use the wisdom He gives me to win others to Him. I especially want to see my lost loved ones saved.
To always be there for my family
To sing for Him, that is my desire, as you said Sue I wasted a lot of years as well singing for the world, and doing the partying, now what I do I do for Him

1. Be a bright light for Christ.
2. To see my Grandparent's come to Christ.
3. To see my friend become a stronger Christian.
4. To grow up and have a husband and children.

I'm sure there are many more, but that's all that came to mind right now.

These lists are great!  Thank you all so much for posting.  You all have some wonderful goals!

Sooz:  It sounds like you've been busy tackling your list!  I love it!

I did think of a few more:

9.)  Move to Florida (but this won't happen, since I am married to an Eskimo :)

10.)  Write a song (so far, I have lots of inspirational thoughts with no complete verses, let alone a complete song :)

The reason I started this post out with practical goals, is because I knew once we started listing our spiritual goals, we would never get to the practical ones :)  And I think most of our spiritual goals are the same.

Sue, I honestly don't have those kinds of goals. I guess I am unmotivated! Actually the purpose of my post was simply to remark how impressed I am with your goals. Wow, you do dream, sister!! That is wonderful! I pray God honors all of yours, unless he comes up with something even more mindblowing than anything you could ever think of! :-)

There is so much I'll like to do, but the list is more self centered that I would like it to be, so I prefer to say...

I want to do everything God wants me to do, and if I have some free time, then I'll do all those self centered thing I really want to do ;-)
