these evangelism tips are AWESOME. Thank you for the work that goes into doing this. I hope the congregation is taking advanage of it. To answer your question I would say "no". I believe the Gospel works whether or not you know the person.  God bless you Jeff!

Thanks Russ. This is so fun and fulfilling for me. It's a blessing to be part of what you are doing and your friend.

I had to think about this one for a bit.  But only for a bit.  NO.  Most of the folks I've been privileged to help come to the Lord have been people I've just met, or had very little relationship with.  That said, there have been others who took longer.  God is sovereign, and the Holy Spirit will prompt when to push forward and when to back off.  One sows, one waters, one harvests.  It's all about the prompting of the Spirit, isn't it?  And God brings the harvest in His time.  But we do need to be listening for that prompting, ready at a moment's notice to sow, water, or reap.

Don-

You got it my brother.  Some plant, some water, but it is God who brings the increase.  Being led by the Spirit is whole other topic. Phillip was led by the Spirit to go speak to the Ethiopian eunuch and must obviously obey those promptings but if are not getting any special leading, we already have the leading in Mark 16:15 go into all the world and preach. Thanks.

this is such an amazing tool. I hope we can get more people signed up so they can read blogs like this and the "sharing" section is so NT church!!!
