| Afraid to Pray |

Have you ever had God blow yer mind? Well over the past few weeks, that's exactly what has happened to me. Let me share this story with y'all.
See me and Kathy hain't never had much in the way of wordly posessions. I've always just been content with what I got. As long as we have a trailor to live in and food to eat then life is good cause that's still more than what most folks in the world have. I've lived my life like this ever since I can remember, scrapin by and livin on love. It's the plight of the mullet. We've had some times where we almost run out of money, but God has always made sure had a place to live and food to eat... even if it was Ramen noodles. I got a fat little belly I can show you to prove it.
Well, a few weeks ago at church we had a fella come in and preach about faith. It was a real good message. He talked about how you cain't even get saved if you don't have faith. Faith in God is the most important quality a man can have. But then he took it a step further and said that "If I ask anythang according to God's will I can have it"
Now, that really stuck in my head for some reason. I thought about it all day long. If I can have anything that's in God's will then I need to find out what God's will is. I prayed to God, "Show me what your will is"
God was silent. So I prayed it again, "God show me what your will is so I know what I can and cain't ask You for"
Again God was silent. "God, I know you can hear me, please show me what your will is"
Finally God spoke to me, "BillyRay I can't believe your even asking me that, after all this time you really don't know what my will is?" "Go look at Luke 11:2"
So I got my Bible out and looked it up. Luke 11:2
So He said to them, “When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
I said, "God I still don't get it... I see that it says to pray for your will to be done on earth like it is in heaven... but I don't understand what You are telling me"
God said, "BillyRay up in heaven there isn't any sickness, there isn't any disease, there isn't any hunger, people spend all the time they want in my presence, and you get a mansion. Thats my will for you, let my will be done on earth too."
I said, "God that is too good to be true, I cain't believe it!"
God said, "That's the problem, BillyRay, most of my children don't really believe it"
Well, I thought to myself for a moment and said "Well, if You say it then I believe it, Lord I want a mansion, no wait I want more, I want to get out of this single-wide trailor and into a double-wide!"
That night Kathy got a phone call. I could tell it was serious by the look on her face. When she hung up she said that her great aunt BobbySue had passed away and that she had put Kathy in her will.
To make a long story short, Kathy's great aunt owned some rental property in the mountains, and she had given one of them to us, and the property we got had a Double-wide trailor on it!
And it gets even better, the next day I sold my single wide trailor to a man who was relocating to the area. The money we got from that was enought to move our new trailor down here, pay off my car, and have money left!
God blew my mind. It still feels like a dream. I did have a few issues in gettin the trailor down here but God has worked those out too. So, I just want to encourage everybody out there. Have faith in God! Take God at His word, pray it, and believe it even when you ain't got no visual evidence of it. That's what faith really is: Believing when you cain't see it. I promise you that if you do it, God will show up and blow your mind too.

Mullet- That is some great news, And God is still blowing my mind too! I have missed you and have prayed all is well, and now i see things are all good.
Praise God for you and i'm sorry to hear about your Lost. But look at how God Does things Amazing. |

| Hi, Billy Ray--wow--I heard two messages in two different churches this past Sunday, and they both fit together like pork and sauerkraut. The first was on faith--believing God, taking Him at his word. And the second was believing God's word and proclaiming it in faith. God led me to Jeremiah 1:12 where He says "I'm watching over My word to perform it". God bless--and by the way, I also am a proud owner of a mullet on top of my head. |

Great to have you back and so blessed. I think it is still hard for some of us to really know what GODS will is for us. But all you do is keep plugging along and asking and you have shown that he will answer.

What a great illustration of the truth found in Hebrews 11:6.
11:6 And without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing `unto him'; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and `that' he is a rewarder of them that seek after him.

| Mullet, our life in Christ does not depend upon what we possess in this world but what we give to others in the Body of Christ. You are content with what Has given you. By simple faith, you go to Him. May the Lord continue to reveal Himself to you like this. |

What an awesome testimony!!!! God says that we have not because we ask not. We don't realize that God WANTS to bless us and He WANTS us to live abundantly! It's a shame how much we cheat ourselves out of by not asking and believing!!!! I'm glad that God is blessing you and your family. Since you have opened up to what He will do for you, you better get ready! He'll pour it on you more than you will believe possible. |

Mullet a great lesson here. God answers prayers... we "ought" to be mindful of what we pray for. In your case it was a wonderful blessing... is there anything too hard for God?

And your testimony here proves it. wow, I am still blown away by this.
You have just preached what is probably one of the main words being preached around the globe right now. God's will on earth as it is in heaven.
