| How To Say Thanks |
|
| |
Every November Thanksgiving comes around. Turkey, dressing, dessert (mmm good) and all the other food items that go with the holiday. But what does Thanksgiving really DO for me. I find it incredibly hard at times to find the correct words when thanking someone. You know how that moment feels: the person has just done something incredible and you are overwhelmed with joy, satisfaction and THANKS. But how do you share that. Do you give a hug, share a thankful word, buy something in gratitude, or just stare at the person. All the above can be overwhelmingly freeing to do, but I challenge myself and you. How do we say THANKS this season? Over the next few weeks we will run through several stores, buy a bunch of junk we probably don’t need, eat way to much food and spend to much money on the over priced THINGS in the stores. In all those situations there is always someone serving us. Whether its the commissioned payed retail associate, the tip earning waiter, the minimum wage grocery store clerk or the under payed Santa in the mall; all these people serve us to give us a better HOLIDAY.
So as we go into this busy season remember those who serve you and find new ways to express your gratitude towards them. |
