Random thoughts:

Our King does not take our spouse or our children or all our money and he does not search our house and take whatever pleases Him.  He has no need to.  He owns it all already.

It's awesome that He lets us use some of it while we walk here.  It's even more awesome that He gives us equal shares as our inheritance when we're with Him.

Each of God's enemies will fall into the fires of Hell for eternity.  Don't be God's enemy be His child.  With God on our side we will prevail!

We should not try to force our will on God.  When the king of Israel tried it turned ugly and so it does with us too.  Our legacy can haunt our children for generations.  Would you want your ancestors' legacies to haunt you?  Live for God!
