| WHEN GOD SHOWS UP...HE SHOWS OUT!! |

Praises to all the Saints if your faith is wavering or you are having some doubt about the Living God. May I encourage you to read on, you will be blessed. In my other blog, Don't “Be Messin With My Pigs-feet and Collard Greens”, I wrote about kidney disease and other chronic illness and conditions. As some of you may or may not know, I have Lupus and I’m on dialysis and I'm also a survivor of several (4) heart attacks.
On Friday, October 26, 2007, I get a call from Mt. Sinai Hospital; they have a kidney for me. “When I arrived, I found out the Kidney Was Damaged! Looking back I realize that the Lord had me to go through this for a reason, I now realize that God was showing up and beginning to show out. I met a woman who had received her kidney transplant four months earlier, we talked and she encouraged me and told me what to expect and said that now I'm on top of the list and will be called again within 6 months. So I go home and back to my life and I thank God for the experience.
October 28, 2007, just two days later, at 6pm I got another call from Mt. Sinai Hospital, so here I go again. I had less than a hour to get to the hospital-- they had another kidney for me, One hour later at the hospital, now I'm feeling a little scared, a little excited, yet everything after that moved really fast; by 8:20pm I'm in surgery. Four hours later, I have a brand new Kidney, which actually started working even before the doctors had a chance to close up my wound. God Showed Up Again…And 3 days later I'm sent home. I'm told this was unheard of for a transplantee! God Showed Up Again…And the average wait for a kidney is 5 to 10 years, I was only on the list for 2 years. Praise the Lord!Did God Show Up And Show Out Or What??!! Praise him!
GOD is too awesome, He Lives Inside Of Me! I’m too blessed to be stressed. Hallelujah up in here! Hallelujah up in here! Hallelujah up in here!

Continous praise through trials and tribulations \o/ \o/ Is he not worthy???? In our most bleak moments he shows up and shows out........ God is so good and I am so happy for you.... What an awesome testimony and thank you so much for sharing.... NEVER GIVE UP and he won't either.

| Yaa - what a thanksgiving gift to hear of God answering your prayer for a kidney. Have you had a chance to share God's grace with people who would not be willing to hear it other than this miracle of getting a transplant early? |

Update: The doctors are now saying this is a God sent Kidney; I'm at a point in my recovery after 2 weeks, (God showed up and showed out...again!); many Transplantee reach at the 6 week mark...Hallelujah!
