Great story, Glenn!  You've blessed us by sharing it with us.

We've done the poorer than dirt thing, too, at times over the years, and yes, God is always faithful.  The joy in the long run is having kids who love God, a good marriage, the health to be able to work, seeing the hand of God in all the little things, and thanking Him for all of it!

Great, Glenn.  God certainly does bring us through it; doesn't He?

" He was there with the answer, waiting for us to ask. " maybe I should be bold enough to ask.  Sounds like an awsome life and an awsome God I think I'll live for him.  Thanks for taking the time to post this.

Jen, life has been good so far, lots of ups and downs, but God has been faithful through them all.  Thanks again for reading and encouraging.

Gene, Amen, he does indeed!

Dave from what I read of your writing, you have been asking and thanking him along the way, just keep your eyes on Him!

Thanks all for reading,
peace

Wow, Glenn, sounds like we were married on the same day.  We just celebrated our 20th.  Were you married on Feb 14, 1987?  When we got married my wife had lost her voice the day of our wedding and couldn't speak until wednesday on our honeymoon.  A friend wrote a note to me that I had a gift of a quiet wife.  LOL  We both laughed so over that.  It has been a growing and stretching 20 years and I am still married to my best friend.

I would be very interested in how God brought people beside you, like how they connected with you and interacted with you.  I would also love to hear how you were led to different churches sometime.

Thanks for sharing your story.  Have a great thanksgiving.  Your brother in Christ, Brent

Hey Brent,
I can't believe someone else actually was foolish enough to get married on Valentines day. One day I'll write more about God's leading hand in our lives. Thanks again for reading

hehe, I'm listening to Crashdog as I write this, thanks to you Glenn, my friend and former JPUSAer. Your testimony is fascinating, though not particularly spectacular. Like mine!!

Wow, so you and Ruby survived living with your parents? Now you know your marriage can survive anything!! haha   Lau.. and I lived with her family for six months. The experience almost broke me. It was the most trying period of our marriage.

I can't tell you how awesome and encouraging it is to hear you tell of your days scraping by, as God continued to provide for you and your family!! I've heard other stories like this too. You have much to tell other struggling folks about God's trustworthiness!

Glenn, now that I've finished reading your testimony, I'm left wanting more. Any chance you'll go into more detail about the "lost years"? Or how about the period you glossed over in this chapter, 1989 to the present. Heck, why don't you guys just drop in and visit us, then you can tell us all about it in person! (Wish it was that easy!)

Thanks for putting this all down, Glenn. Awesome fun interesting reading!! And I feel I know you so much better now, which obviously was the goal. You succeeded!

Hey Glenn, that valentines comment made me smile.  A little known fact is that I picked the date.  You know a lot of significant dates are tied to other family birthdays or St. Patty's Day.  It was pretty good timing since we had all the flowers at church for a Valentines banquet and we were able to make use of them.  Have a good Sunday!

Well Mike I appreciate your comments and star.  Watch out, we might just stop in to visit if your not carefull.  We just returned from a visit to the New York City area, actually an hour north in Putnum Valley.  We went to spend Thanksgiving with my eldest son's girlfriend's family.  We had a blast, but it is good to be home.

Hey Brent, I guess having the flowers already at the church would save some money.
Thanks for reading guys.

Some day I'll write some more but not now.
