It may have seemed like a while since our last update, but that's only because we've been busy plugging away at some new and helpful features to connect you to your church and the rest of the MyChurch community.

We realized it was about time we stopped being so narcissistic. Yea,.. it's great to read your own blog. Lovely to look at your own pearly whites. But it's time to move on. In other words.. it's no longer about you. Or me. It's about what's going on at your church and with your friends. So late last week, we updated your Home page with some (what we like to call) "freshness".

It's actually called "What's Fresh at Your Church Name Here". With every update to your church's page, just by logging into your home page, you'll get a feed of the latest activity at your church. Whether that be with new photos, a new classifieds posting, new member, a comment on a church blog entry.. anything and everything will be fed into your "freshness" section on your Home page.

So while it's no longer about you, we think it's a bit more useful and fun to know what's going on around us. In addition, we added the 3 most recent blog entries from blogs you're subscribed to. Your blog also now just shows the 3 latest titles with their appropriate stats. We hope you likey.
