PASTOR'S UPDATE
In a few days we will be celebrating Thanksgiving. The day we have set aside to give thanks for all of our blessings. I have a lot to be thankful for and I won't bore you with a long list, just know I am truly blessed. Doug Williams our missionary to Ecuador and the Awa Indians spoke yesterday in church and what a blessing he was to me. When he flashed up the photo of his wife handwashing their clothes outside their cabin on the side of the mountains in Ecuador, I knew I was spoiled. I take so much for granted in my life and God truly has been good to me. It is good to stop and reflect. I think we all have a tendancey to forget His blessings. 103:1 Give praise to the Lord, O my soul; let everything in me give praise to his holy name. 103:2 Give praise to the Lord, O my soul; let not all his blessings go from your memory. If you would like to read more about Doug catch my blog at Chipping Away What's with the pumpkin above? Since it's Thanksgiving I thought I would share some Pumpkin Pi :) GEORGIA PEACHES
