It is hard to believe that is has been an entire week since Karen's surgery. She continues to improve daily. She has been outside for a little walk. Made it to the end of the walk and back. She made up one step of the stairs today.
Every day she moves better and is a little more comfortable. We switched to the less severe pain medication, and this makes her less drowsy.
The biggest issue now is Physical Therapy. Karen is suppose to have in house PT for a while. The company that supplies this is having trouble finding PT's for the holiday week.
Your visits have been very helpful to her. Could you imagine spending all day with me as your only company.

Karen missed all of you at Apartment G on Saturday. I know she so wanted to be there. A special thanks to all of you who pitched in during her absence. As you all know, this is a ministry that is very close to here heart
