Hi! I am not really sure where to begin... so I'll start at the beginning. I grew up an Air Force 'brat'. As an infant, I lived w/my mom and dad in Turkey ( glad that I'm not there now)! We later moved to N.C., then spent a few years in Texas-yee haw! From there, we spent 6 years on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. After that beautiful stay, we came back to reality and the 'mainland' of Virginia where I graduated from highschool in 1992. Eventually, I ended up back in North Carolina. That's where life really became interesting.
I came back to Christ on Easter Sunday of 1995. I met a wonderful Christian man that evening while attending the Easter program at a friends church. Chad was in drama even back then... We met, began dating and one year later to the date, WE WERE MARRIED!!! Two weeks later we moved to Charleston and here we are. Fast forward 12 years. I am not only a wife, but I'm also a mother of 2 beautiful children (and one Shi Tzu).
I love God. He has been so good to me, as well as my family. He has shown us such grace and mercy. Only in hindsight are we sometimes able realize just how merciful God truely is. Love to all- Ashley |
