We are a little church with a big heart. The Bible tells us that little is much as long as God is in it. Our church was founded in 1830. The orginal structure burned around the turn of the century. Our current sanctuary has been modified several times over the past 30 years. It has beautiful stained glass windows that tell the story of Jesus.
But the most important part of our church is its members and our desire to do the will of the Father. We are working to meet the needs of those who are less fortunate. Each year we hold a Thanksgiving food drive. We fed over 50 families last year. We collect school supplies for local schools and we are currently collecting play clothes for Christ central Mission.
Our youth meets at 6:30 on Wednesday evenings. We share a meal together and share the Word of God.
Each month we hold a Ladies Prayer Brunch. This is a great opportunity to share what God is doing in our lives as w pray for one another, our families, our church, our communities and schools, and our nation and its leaders.
Our youth are also participating in Youth Quake which meets on Sunday nights in conjunction with Langley, Bath, and Belvedere United Methodist churches. Our youth participated in Youth Surge at Lake Junaluska. The Lord moved in a mighty way during that week. The youth have requested to keep the momentum going and the result is Youth Quake.  We are proud of our young people and thankful for what the Lord is doing in their lives.

My church community is important to me because having a place to go where people treat you like you matter and believe the same things that you do and encourage you to be a postive member of the church and care about you means the world to me and my family. I enjoy being a part of a Church that misses you when your not there and cares enough to ask how your doing. It has been one of the best decisions of my life.
