Hello to all reading this. My name is Captain Ray Jackson AKA Captain J. I have been an officer for 3 years this June. I graduated as part of the Preparers of the Way Session in 2005. I have enjoyed my time as an officer. There have been both hard and tough times. Through it all I know that God has me in this very place in my life for a reason. And so I say use me Lord! While I feel I don't have it all or even know it all, I am certain that I know and have enough for God to use.
I am currently serving at the Asst. to the Area Commander in Richmond, Va. My previous appointments are as following: June 2005 - July 2007: Portsmouth, Va. (Asst. Corps Officer); July 2007 - September 2007: Martinsville, Va. (Asst. Corps Officer - Pro Term); and now Richmond. With the recent June 2008 moves, I was appointed Asst. Corps Officer in Macon, Ga. I am excited about my new assignment and ready to meet my new family in Macon.
April 19, 2008 my life changed. I married what I think is the most beautiful person on this earth. Shalanda and I had known each other for 5 years. Of that time we dated a little over 2 years. She have completed my life and made me a VERY HAPPY MAN!! With her and our son Corey, this man couldn't ask for more. She will be entering the CFOT as part of the 2009 session. |
