Well, I have yet to get a job. I am not upset by this completely, however. It is discouraging that no one want to hire me. Although, I did receive one offer that I couldn't take due to the hours.
I have realized though, that this was really an answer to prayers. I am a lot happier now that I am not in a job I hate. I can smile and really mean it. It's been a while since I could wake up and just be happy.
Also, this gives me much needed time to practice. I am playing a recital in a month and was not getting enough practice in. Now I don't need to worry about that and I can schedule rehearsals whenever I please.
The last good thing it does is helps me FINALLY graduate college. I will be able to take all of my classes over the summer session and be done by June 27th. This is just beyond exciting. Who knows what will be next after that.
God always provides. Thankfully I am living at home again so I don't have to worry about rent. And with a part-time job at the mall and substitute teaching a day or two a week, I have plenty to keep myself where I need to be.
Although I freaked out for the first few days after being fired. I was calmed and realized this was truly a blessing in disguise.

Hello to anyone brave enough to read a blog with such a title.
Sitting at lunch today, I receive a phone call telling me not to come back to work on Monday. They had finally found a legal reason that I could be fired. This has its good and bad sides. I have been trying to find a new job for months because I hated my job. This was not however, how I expected to leave.
So now it is crunch time. I need to find a new job ASAP. I don't know where to look. I feel like I have already been everywhere. My perfect job is an administrative position, although at this point it seems like I will have to settle for whatever I can find.
If you know anything or anyone that can help me, please let me know. If not, please at least keep in in your prayers. I would greatly appreciate it.
Cathy
p.s. Thankfully money is not the underlying issue. I did just receive a large tax refund that I hadn't decided what to do with yet. This was not what I was thinking of, but at least I am blessed with enough money to last a few months if I need to.
