My name is Chris,I was once in a very strong church New Life Church Of Jesus Christ,in Concord,NC. But then I joined the army any set out on the hardest and longest test I've ever had.I failed!! I was deployed to Iraq and lost my self in my flesh. I am tring to bring myself back to the place I was before. I know that I turned away from God not him turning away from me.And now here I am back in Iraq for 15 mths.I have a brand new baby Faith Victoria Rose, that I have not even met yet,only seen in pics.I will see her and my awsome wife in Aug. when I get leave. I have FAITH that in the name of Jesus anything is possible. Thats alittle about me there is so much more, GOD BLESS AND GOD SPEED

Man I havent checked this is so long...im glad to hear that you are wanting to raise your daughter in church and get back yourself. Although I'm sure you know this I will tell you anyway...it will be the hardest battle you will ever have to fight. See when the prodigal son was living in separation from his father, he was fine. He had friends...at least temporary ones and he had money and everything he could need but by the time he realized that he had it better in his father's house he had hit rock bottom to where he was literally living with pigs. The beautiful thing about our father is that ever since we left "home" he has been watching and waiting for us to come back, oh he knows that we have been living in the "pig pen" of sin and sometimes we think that we won't be worthy of being called his sons or daughters anymore, but when that prodigal son was seen from far away coming down the road to his fathers house, his father was not angry with him, did not tell him "I told you so", did not judge him, he ran out to meet him and fell on him and kissed his neck and brought out the best robe and put a ring on his finger and prepared a feast for him. God has been waiting for you to come "home" back into communion with your heavenly father, and I will tell you that once He sees you making an effort down that road to come to him, he won't leave you hanging, but he will meet you. On the other hand what makes it hard...well the enemy of our soul won't bother you too much if he thinks he already has you, but once he sees you heading toward that road, you better believe that is gonna get his attention and he is going to do everything in his power to prevent you from making it to that road that leads you home. Just remember that ..."greater is He that is you, than he that is in the world", ...."no weapon formed against you, shall prosper." Once you set out on your journey "home" you better put on some armor and be ready to fight because Iraq and all the evil people in it, have nothing on the spiritual battle that we all face everyday or on our eternal enemy who hates us with a passion greater than any human on this planet hates any other human. Remember what the Carrikers sing "he NEVER promised that the cross would not get heavy, or the hill would not be hard to climb, he NEVER offered our victory without fighting, BUT He said help would ALWAYS come in time, so remember when your standing in the valley of decision and the adversary says "Chris, just give in" HOLD ON! our Lord will show up! and he will take you through the fire again!!! You and your family are in our prayers.
