DYING
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. ~Hosea 4:6
Say to them: ‘As I live,’ says the Lord GOD, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’ ~Ezekiel 33:11
God wants to bring revival to our country. God wants to heal our land, but some of His church has strayed. They have stepped out of the sheep fold and moved on to what they see as greener pastures. Pastures full of adversity, strife, greed, tolerance, idolatry; they have given false doctrines fuel to press on, they have given in to the itch in their ears. They are eating from the fields of rotten wheat, but because of their spiritual blindness they cannot see the maggots and mold also feeding off it. They have become victims of their own surety. Because they did not pursue knowledge, because they did not adhere to the truth of God’s word in it’s entirety, they have been lured away by their own lusts. They sit in churches Sunday after Sunday, feeding themselves on only what they want to hear; vainly praying; seeking after only what they can get for themselves; grumbling and complaining and forsaking the Lord’s cleansing, correction and calling.
People who are called by Christ’s name, His Bride, His Church – stand up! It’s time to pray, it’s time to seek His face, it’s time to cry out for His intervention, for His Spirit. Together, let’s intercede for those who have strayed, let’s pray for an awakening for this country; get on your knees for our leaders. Step out of your prayer box and pray for those you DON’T know, pray for those who have itching ears, pray for those who are lost. Don’t stop the Spirit, let Him move, let Him speak, let Him breathe the winds of change over this country.
Let’s Pray: Dear Most Sovereign and Holy Father, there is none like You. You are the creator and the One who gave us each life. You have called us and are still calling us; Father, we desire to know You more; plant Your word deep inside of us, give us each a revelation of who You are. Lord, we lift up this nation to You; we ask for a spiritual awakening; for the blinders to be removed, for the coverings to be taken down. We ask for those of Your children who have strayed from knowledge and followed their selfish and wicked ways – may You have mercy on them; may You bring them to an understanding of Your truth; may You stop the work of the enemy in their lives and bring them back to Yourself. May their hearts be receptive to Your correction; may they humble themselves and seek forgiveness from You. We ask for Your Spirit to search all of our hearts, revealing true motives, wicked ways, hidden agendas and may You lead us in the way everlasting. Father, we place our leaders in Your hands; may You open doors and guide their steps, their words, their actions. May the enemies traps, pitfalls, schemes and temptations be revealed for what they are; may Your will be done. We give You all our praise, all honor, and all glory! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

SEEK HIS FACE
When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place. ~2 Chronicles 7:13-15
Over the last week or so, God has been repeatedly impressing upon me the need to press in to His presence regarding the upcoming elections. Not that I’ve ever been a huge follower of politicians, but I’ve paid slightly more attention this year than in years past. Never have I heard so much backbiting, slander, mudslinging and general contrariness than in this race. That is one reason why I can’t stomach politics, and one reason why I was never a huge follower; however God has been showing me that this is not just a race to see who will be president, but also spiritual warfare. He is in control and already knows the outcome, but He is calling us to pray; to seek His face, to repent and bow down low. We have become an idolatrous nation, a greedy nation, a self-seeking nation, and yes, a nation of mockers. Our God will not be mocked and He will do what is necessary to get our attention. Our nation has become a slave to money; ignorant of the things of God; tolerant of that which God does not approve of; a nation of children who have the upper hand in some families; a nation of takers and a nation of hypocrites. But praise be to God, He has a chosen remnant within this nation that He is wooing, calling, drawing nearer to Himself; preparing them and setting them apart. It is this remnant that He is calling forth to speak out to this wicked generation. It is this remnant that He is looking for someone to stand in the gap and intercede.
Church, it’s time to step out, bow down and take our place in the throne room of the Almighty God and begin to intercede for this nation’s future. To press in and ask for forgiveness on behalf of this generation and this nation; to allow God to be God here. Will you take that step today and begin to pray for this country?
Let’s Pray: God, You are God! There is none like You, You are Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. You are the Creator, the Almighty, our Sovereign Lord. You are the giver of life and the taker of life, You are our judge and jury. Your judgments are righteous and true. Father, You are merciful and loving, powerful and faithful. We stand before You now asking for forgiveness for this nation; forgiveness for our idolatry, our greed, our tolerance, our ignorance. We ask for forgiveness for our pride and our selfishness. We place ourselves in Your hands as vessels; use us Lord to bring glory to Yourself. Teach us to walk in integrity at all times; help us to resist temptations. We pray for this upcoming election; may You reveal the schemes and lies of the enemy, bringing Your truth to light; may You open eyes, ears and hearts to those who have been blinded and deafened by the enemy. We trust in You for the outcome knowing that You have already seen the end of this story, for You have written it. We ask for wisdom and understanding among the candidates and voters. Your will be done, O Lord, Your will be done. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Good Morning Family!
May God be raining down blessings on you today! I have a couple of prayer requests that I'd like you to join me in prayer for.
My cousin, Lala, has recently been diagnosed with a diseased gall bladder and with a large tumor on her ovary. I spoke with her the other night and she was going for tests yesterday, but I haven't heard any results yet. She will need surgery, but does not have a date set. She is believing in God for a miracle, and her husband has been praying over her. I would like to ask that we pray as the Spirit leads for her.
As many of you have probably seen from my memo's, I am going to be a Gramma of twins!!! As exciting as this is, my husband and his daughter do not have a close relationship, therefore we don't have a close relationship. It's a very long story, but to make it short, her mother's parents raised her and we were never allowed to spend any time with her. We would have to visit them at their house on their terms, while they monitored every visit (which, by the way, was never court - ordered, and the g-parents did not obey any of the court orders regarding insurance/ support/ etc.) My husband was never able to take his daughter shopping, for dinner, for ice cream, or anything. It was very hard for him as he was young to begin with when she was born. Now, the relationship is tentative and she has an entire family that she does not really know. We don't know what she grew up believing about her father and our family but we know that God is a God who can make all things new!
Coming from a family, myself, who didn't really know my father's family, I can understand her tentativeness towards us because I feel as though I am a stranger to my own father and his family. I would like to ask you to pray for God to reconcile and strengthen Annie and Ange's father/daughter relationship, for God to prepare her heart to know Him more intimately; for wisdom for Ange and I when we speak and minister to her; for a very safe pregnancy and for healthy babies; for us to be a part of those babies lives; and however else the Spirit leads you.

MMMM, I’M SMELLING DELICIOUS BREAD!

Are you hungry? Do you long for substantial sustenance? Jesus is all you need for survival. He is the Bread of Life. Open your Bible and dig into the meat of God’s Word. Speak with Jesus and feast yourself on life!
Dear Jesus, thank You for being our Bread. Thank You for sustaining us, for feeding us, for caring so much for us. Help us to keep ourselves totally in Your loving care so that we may be nourished enough to bear fruit through You in order to bless the saints. In Your name, Amen.

ONE BODY

Now may our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way to you. And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you, so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints. ~1 Thessalonians 3:11-13
Jesus desires a unified and holy Church. We are one Body with many members. We cannot all be hands, feet, eyes, ears, or whatever choice part of the body we want, and I believe each church is a specific part of the Body serving a specific part of God’s divine plan. We cannot be squabbling over which part of the Body we want to be, we need to sit back, repent of our pridefulness and selfishness, rebuke the enemy and his lies, and breathe in God’s Holy Spirit. We need to be Spirit filled and Spirit led, only then will the Church see revival and true Christian growth and God will be glorified because His purpose and plan will be fulfilled.
It begins with a faithful remnant, with us. Let’s gather together today in prayer for each of our individual churches and pastors, standing in the gap, interceding for them.
Dear Heavenly Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit, Today we come to You praising You because You are Holy, Sovereign, Faithful, Just, Worthy, Mighty, Loving and Merciful. We thank You for Your grace and Your guidance. Lord, we stand before You in the gap, we lift up Your Church before You and we ask that You look at each church body, examine them, clean them, purge them. Rearrange them according to Your will, we ask that Your Spirit fill each church and that whatever is hindering the flow of Your Spirit, please remove it. We ask that You examine each shepherd for Your flocks, protect them, may the words that come from their mouth be Your words, let them truly push their flesh aside and allow Your Spirit to minister through them. Lord, we come against anything the enemy may try to trip them with, we ask that Your hedge of protection encompass not only them but their families. We pray for the congregations, may their hearts be prepared and ready to receive Your Word. May they worship You in spirit and in truth, may they be filled with the fire of Your Spirit and may Your presence be manifested in their lives. Father, we ask that Your love be evident in each and every believer; whatever struggles they have, may they lay them at Your feet. May they truly testify to Your goodness and mercy and let it reflect in their daily lives. May Your light shine through them. Lord, we ask that for those who have been sitting on the fence and can’t seem to let the world go that You have mercy on them and touch them in ways that only You can. May they feel Your presence and may they be purged by Your fire. Create in them obedient, worshipful hearts. Let the Church arise and stand up in Your name and may it draw ever closer to You! In Jesus name, Amen.
